(BCN) -- Monday in the Bay Area calls for mostly sunny skies with patchy fog expected in some inland parts of the region at night, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime highs will be mostly in the low 60s to mid 70s on the coast, in the high 60s to mid 70s around the bay, and high 70s to mid 80s inland. Overnight lows will be in the mid to high 50s.
Forecasters say Monday will be the coolest day of the week across the Bay Area, with temps near or slightly below normal and gusty winds developing across higher terrain.

The NWS expects onshore winds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. Low clouds are expected to clear earlier than normal Monday, although the 2,000-foot marine layer is still in place.
The bigger concern will be dry, gusty winds in the higher terrain. Winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph, are expected in the North Bay and East Bay interior mountains. Those winds will begin Monday morning and peak Monday night into Tuesday morning, forecasters say.
The combination of dry conditions and strong winds will create elevated fire weather conditions in higher terrain, the weather service says. Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be warmer and drier as northerly winds strengthen and minimize or erode the marine layer, allowing warmer air to reach the coast.
The weather service also warns of minor coastal flooding around San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay and Monterey Bay during the highest high tides from Monday through Thursday.
